easyMarkets, a Cyprus and Australia-regulated forex broker announced it is expanding its trading portfolio with the addition of CFDs on the most popular digital currency – Bitcoin.
Trading in the new instruments is available 24/7, with a leverage of up to 1:10 and a minimum deposit of $100. Additionally, easyMarkets provides negative balance protection, no slippage, guaranteed stop loss and take profit and educational materials for the cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin in particular.
“The excitement surrounding recent record highs in the cryptocurrency markets has now evolved into intense interest in the future of digital currencies like Bitcoin. easyMarkets’ expansion into cryptocurrency CFDs is driven by increasing demand from our clients and we want to give them the option to explore the most fascinating asset class to emerge in years”, said Evdokia Pitsillidou, Director of Risk Management at easyMarkets.
“As most traders already know, Bitcoin was the world’s first decentralised currency and, until recently, it could only be traded on a Bitcoin Exchange. With the advent of our cryptocurrency CFDs, that’s no longer the case. Our clients can now speculate purely on the price movement of the underlying asset, utilising leverage to increase their positions if they wish to”, she added.
easyMarkets is the latest among the growing numbers of forex and CFD brokers to expand their offering with various instruments on cryptocurrencies, driven by the high global interest in them. Other brokers, like ThinkMarkets, FXOpen, RoboForex, are also offering CFDs on some of the most popular digital currencies, while others, like XM, SwissQuote and GrandCapital are offering trading directly in Bitcoin.
easyMarkets, which was previously known as easy-forex, is a brand of Easy Forex Trading, a company regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC). It offers trading in more than 300 instruments, including forex, CFDs, options, metals, commodities and indices. The broker also offers the so-called Vanilla Options trading, which is a type of options trading in which the maximum risk an investor faces equals their initial investment.
