Daily Video Analysis: The EUR/USD Remains Bearish

Good morning, welcome to CuoO’Forex. This is your Daily Video Analysis for Monday September 8.

There is not a lot of news coming out today or tomorrow. At least not a lot of game changing news. I want to talk about Friday’s non-farm payroll report. It missed the mark. The NFP came in way lower than anyone expected. We got a print that the world’s largest economy added only 142,000 new jobs last month. Judging by all the data released up until this point, most economists feel that this number is an anomaly. It does not reflect the strength of the U.S. labor market. We will have to wait until the number is revised next month to really see and we expect it to be revised higher to around 200,000.

This week China is releasing a lot of key economic data. Everything from new loans, which will be watched to see if any of the economic stimulus the People’s Bank of China has been introducing is working, to inflation numbers. We also get the producer inflation as well. New Zealand will be releasing some key employment data as well. Later this week, the U.S. will also be releasing some key employment data. We will get initial jobless claims as well as retail sales. We also will be getting consumer confidence numbers. Will be interesting to see how confident the consumers are with the overall health of the economy.

Have a great day trading and we will chat again tomorrow.
